Things to know
- You can drink the water out of the taps
- Self check-in.
- Instructions for self check-in is on the information wall in camp and will be e-mailed to you
- It's safe in camp with no criminal activities ever
- Animals do roam freely in camp. Do not approach any animals
Emergency numbers are on the information wall in the campsite.
- It can get windy in the bushveld so bring extra straps and ground pens
- Pak your Hat, torch, hammock, bug spray and sunscreen
- No electricity in camp but we do have freezing and refrigerator facilities
Malaria Info
Hoedspruit falls under low risk area for malaria. You still need to take precaution and use peace full sleep spray at night. Malaria risk is present throughout the year, but highest from September to May. In winter the risk is at its lowest from May to August. If you think you may have malaria, contact a doctor soon as possible. You can also buy a self test malaria kit from our local pharmacies in Hoedspruit.
