Self Check-In Instructions

Welcome to Maru Djembe! We hope your stay with us is filled with joy and wonderful memories.

Check-In time: Flexible if you have a gate code

Check-out time: 10:00 am

1. Park and set up your camp at the campsite number you have booked. The campsite number is clearly marked on the braai of each site.

2. If there is no rubbish bin at your campsite, you are welcome to take one from the bin station.

Some rules:

3. Only make your fire in the braai at your campsite.

4. Please follow the instructions on the braai on how to extinguish your fire after use.

5. Never leave your fire unattended. If you have finished using your fire, please use the lid to cover it. The bushveld can experience sudden drafts of wind, including at night.

6. Please leave the sliding door open after using the shower ablution.

7. After using the gas cooker in the outdoor kitchen, close the gas valve on top of the gas cylinder.

8. Please do not gather wood from the bush to avoid encounters with snakes and scorpions.

9. Please read and follow the remaining rules on the Information wall in camp for your own safety and emergency contact numbers.

10. Fireworks and confetti party poppers are strictly forbidden. The clean up of confetti will result in a cleanup fee of R1000.
